Hello, Found your add in the Road Runner Magazine, I’ve been on 3 wheels for almost 8years now, this last Oct.2015 I got a deal from the Harley dealer I couldn’t refuse, so now I have a FreeWheeler, it’s really a great Machine. Anyway I’m very interested in your Rally, we live in Phoenix, AZ and am thinking maybe a motorhome and trailer or riding out to SD, I’ve been as far east as Louisville, KY, all over Cal. and NV, and AZ,and OH, How soon should we make reservations for the up coming rally in July 2017

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Thanks for your interest in the 2017 Rally – the dates will be July 11-16. If you start looking at hotel and/or camping spots sometime in the Spring of the year you should be fine. We will not be taking registrations for the event itself until after the first of the year. Like 3 Wheeler Rally on Facebook to keep up to date on things as well as checking back periodically on this website – which will get an update in the months ahead. Terrific. Thank you for your help.

As of this evening, it appears that the Bikers Atlas web portal is no longer active. If true, has B3W selected an alternative web portal resource for members? Thanks.

  4. Greta Guth says:

Holiday Inn quoted $165 per night. The $95 on map is confusing.

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

      Hi Greta:
I agree that when they put prices on the Google maps that it is confusing. If you were coming to stay in Deadwood TODAY that is the average price of the room. It is NOT the price however when it is summer and Deadwood is in it’s peak of tourism. The $165 price at Deadwood Mountain Grand, a Holiday Inn Resort is about $75 a night cheaper than what the average person coming off the street would pay because we have a block of rooms for this event. It is truly a beautiful property with great amenities!

  5. Greta Guth says:

First Gold quoted me 119 dollars plus tax for weeknights and $159 plus tax for weekend. Certainly not the $47 shown on the map above. Think I’ll try the Holiday Inn next.

    • D3WR Admin says:

Greetings – thank you for bringing this to our attention; Google has been testing out a new “feature” that lists the lowest possible rate for any given time on its maps. As rates change seasonally, this is certainly not a clear nor useful feature. I’ve changed our maps to a different company so the confusing information is no longer presented.

  6. Thomas R Grezeszak says:

Please keep us posted we are excited to make the trip. Looks like three trikes so far are coming from Missouri and Kansas.
    Have a good day

  7. Tom Armstrong says:

Does anyone know the rate at First Gold during the rally? Reason I ask, I called and booked a room and they gave me a rate HIGHER than standard Internet rates. Is First Gold charging a premium rate for anyone attending the 3 wheel rally?

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

There are actually two different rates during the rally. If you are a card carrying member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel the rates are $95 Sunday thru Thursday and $127 Saturday and Sunday. Non BTW is $119 and $159. At the time of check-in you need to show your BTW card to get the reduced rates. On-line booking is not an option at this time during the rally as most of the rooms have been put into the 3 Wheel Rally Block. To get a reservation you need to call directly to the hotel at 800-274-2876 ext. 1000 or ext 1102.

  8. Churchy & Linda Churchward says:

Linda & I will be there early… Reservations and Registrations forthcoming…

  9. Stephanie Stamper says:

Are there any RV Parks involved with this rally? If not, can you recommend one close to the rally site? Thanks.
