Already have my hotel reservation and sending my registration in for the rally

  2. Debbie Hammond says:

This will be my first time to the rally. I’m looking forward to it. On Tuesday, 7/11, do you choose one of the rides: Rochford OR Lead, or can one participate in both activities? Thanks, Debbie!

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

      Hi Debbie:
The ride actually goes first to Rochford and then to Lead…. so yes you get to do both of them – should be a fabulous time!

  3. Randy Robbins says:

    Looking forward to first year!!

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

And we are looking forward to having you here with us Randy! Be sure to preregister for the Rally – I looked and I do not have one from you as of yet. You will save $5 and person and if you want a t-shirt you will be able to get the size you want. I place the order on June 26th. If you have questions be sure to give us a call at 800-274-1876 ext 1102. See you in 29 days!!!

  4. Guiderider says:

    Would Polaris Slingshots be welcome?

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

ABSOLUTELY!! We have had Polaris Slingshots both fact we had 21 of them that showed up the first year in 2015.
All makes and models of trikes and trike conversion kits and trike customs are welcome. Variety is the spice of life and this rally is so much fun because we do not play favorites to any one type of trike! We hope to see you here in 2017!

  5. Rod Karnitz says:

Don’t want to miss the Drive-In Concert at Deadwood Mountain Grand. Amzing

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Anytime you can drive your trike into a building to see a concert is win-win! We do not know who the act will be and if it is a big name act than driving in may have to change – but for now we will look to do it the same in 2017. Don’t miss the drive-in movie Theater this year either. You can sit on your trike outside and watch the movie Hog Wild…it should be a great time!

  6. Elizabeth Barnett says:

2017 – looking forward to the 3rd Annual rally on my Spyder F3-T …

  7. Barespirits says:

    Hey Teddy !!

    WoW !!
You and your team are doing a fantastic job.

    Thanks .. Ray & Judy

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Thanks! We are excited about this year’s rally and want you all to enjoy yourself. Ride Safe and we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!

  8. Michael says:

Do we need tickets for the Brule concert on Tuesday? I know it is a free concert, but do not know if tickets are required. Please advise.

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

      Hi Michael:
No you will not need tickets to enjoy the Brule Concert. They have an outdoor stage area with chairs. I imagine it will be busy so if you plan to go you will need to get there soon enough so you can get a good seat. Of course there is always the comfort of your trike seat!
Check out the High Country Guest Ranch website for more info and see pictures of the area.
      See you in July!

  9. Robert Thomson says:

Need to update with what you have, Oct was a long time ago! Lol

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

You are absolutely right Robert – October seems like an eternity ago! We have actually been making some changes to the schedule and we are still not done. New opportunities keep coming up and now that we have been selected as a BRP Owners Event we know there will be even more changes to make. Please be patient but remain excited for an amazing event! We hopefully will be posting a new and improved tentative schedule soon.

  10. Robert Thomson says:

Are you going to provide a complementary pass again this year for Custer state park ride so we can avoid the entrance fee?

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Hi Robert, That is a good question. We actually have built in the Crazy Horse Memorial Pass this year instead. If you stay on the roads that go through Custer Park and do not actually ever stop to use the amenities or the “fee areas” the park has to offer, you do not technically need a pass. However that is difficult to do. In 2015 we did the optional ride on Iron Mountain Road. In addition to the spectacular views of Mt. Rushmore, curving single-lanes and unique pigtail bridges, Iron Mountain Road is the only road that passes through Custer State Park without a fee station.
Should you choose to spend time in Custer Park wile you are here you will need to purchase a $10 motorcycle permit that is good for 7 days. Thanks for asking!

  11. Julia Wahl says:

Can 2 wheelers come too? I’ve got a trike and son is on 2-wheels.

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Yes it is ok if you are accompanied by a two-wheeler. We had several that participated last year. While this is a trike rally, we understand that not all friends and family have made the switch to three wheels. Let me know how I can be of assistance

  12. Diane Larkin says:

Enjoyed the “First”. Looking forward to the “Second”. Very well organized! See you in July.

  13. Peter Pontinen says:

Wife got the room reserved, cya in July.

  14. jim & rita kisner says:

need to schd my vacation from work so please let us know soon what the three wheel rally dates are to be .looking forward to it thanks Omaha ne.

  15. gary hoover says:

where is evey one staying and how much thanks gary

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

Hi Gary – You will find that just about every hotel/campground property in Deadwood will have rally guests staying there. First Gold Hotel is the most convenient being right across the street from the action. I don’t see that you have registered yet so if we can be of any assistance please let us know. 1-800-274-1876 Ext. 1102

  16. Rodney Lilly says:

let me know when the 2nd annual rally is please

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

      HI Rodney:
The registration is now open for the 2nd annual Rally and I noticed you have not registered yet. If there is anything we can do to assist please let us know!

  17. Larry Sobczak says:

Please include me when you send out updates.

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

      Hi Larry
The registration is now open and we hope you will join us for the 2nd Annual D3WR/BTW National Trike-In. It’s going to be a fun event!

  18. Dexter Forsberg says:

Sounds fun we live in Lead

  19. Teresa says:

While that ride is sponsored by BRP and labeled as a Spyder Ride it is not exclusive to Spyders only. This rally is being designed and promoted to include all makes and models of 3 wheelers. If someone you now rides on 2 than bring them along too…the more the merrier!

  20. Norm Kokes says:

I see many events and rides for Spyder Riders – Is Endeavor reverse trike close enough to be included in these?
I suppose we could have an Endeavor Ride but that would just be two or three of us 🙂

  21. stan yelton says:

When do you believe that they will have the information for the Sun July 19th destination ride available. That way I will know if I should book another night for the Sunday ride or leave out after the 8am breakfast. Thanks, Stan Y

    • Teresa Schanzenbach says:

I will let you know that answer soon. I am sure we will be doing a ride through Spearfish Canyon but I am working on the final details for where we would/could stop.

  22. j. rainbolt says:

sounds fun. probably will be 5 or 6 of us from casper, wy. looking forward to marveling all the trikes

  23. Brad Fjelland says:

    send any new updates

  24. John D says:

We are planning a trip to the Black Hills in July and I just found this web site. Very interested in more info!

  25. Paul Marquardt says:

What a great idea to have a rally separate from the hussle and bussle of the Sturgis Rally. Like the T.O.U.R. (Trike Owners United Ride), any event to bring 3-wheelers together to share experiences and fellowship is welcomed and appreciated!

  26. Ed Sadlo says:

I posted your link at I hope we are in great numbers for your event!

  27. John Sharp says:

Sounds like a great time looking forward to it.
    please keep me updated.

  28. Terry S says:

please send a schedule of events for the trike rally.

  29. Larry Wick says:

    Sounds exciting.
